In 2018, while working on a renovation where the homeowner was living on site, Alex needed a way to scrape subgrade surfaces while keeping dust contained. That is when Scrape-Vac was born. By combining aggressive scraping power with continuous vacuum suction, Scrape-Vac captures debris as it is removed. Dust, mud, adhesive, and construction waste are pulled directly into the vacuum instead of being released into the air. Our Story

Scrape-Vac started with a simple question. How can we clean jobsite floors faster and better? For Alex Enzbrenner, a veteran and general contractor with decades of experience, the old methods were slowing projects down. Subgrade cleanup took too long and often had to be done more than once. It was frustrating, and it made it harder to keep schedules on track.

So in 2018, Alex began experimenting with a new approach. He tested different designs while still running The Craftsman Companies, and he used feedback from his own crews to refine it. What started as a small idea on a job site turned into a tool that changes the cleanup process entirely.

Today, Scrape-Vac helps contractors clean more efficiently, reduce labor costs, and get better results on every project. It is built by someone who has been in the field and understands what crews really need.
